Who it’s for
This advanced certification is designed for chaplains who already understand the fundamentals of pastoral care and want to serve with excellence in corporate, marketplace, and small-business settings. Building on the foundation of our Chaplaincy Certification, it focuses on the realities of caring for employees, owners, and leaders in the place where they spend most of their waking hours.
What you’ll develop
- Establishing and sustaining a workplace chaplaincy program with the trust of leadership and staff alike
- Confidentiality, ethics, and professional boundaries in an employment setting
- Crisis response, grief, and critical-incident care on the job
- Caring for people across faiths and backgrounds with respect and without coercion

- Measuring impact and communicating the value of chaplaincy to an organization
Format
Like our other certifications, instruction is delivered at a distance — by telephone and email — so you can train while you continue to live, work, and serve in your own community.
A current Chaplaincy Certification (or equivalent experience) is recommended before enrolling.
